Leonardo Casalini, 7.7.1993, Tuscany.
His dreamlike and experimental work focuses on emotional investigation and conceptual analysis, according to a spiritual vision of image making.
In 2017, after graduating with 110 cum laude in DAMS at the University of Florence (thesis in history of cinema in collaboration with Luca Bigazzi),
he starts working as cinematographer's assistant with Vassili Spiropoulos: for Polimoda and Albert Moya at Numeroventi.
In 2018 he attends a fashion lighting course at Fondazione Studio Marangoni in Florence and a cinematography workshop with Giuseppe Lanci at CSC in Rome.
His visuals are for/on AVAVAV, LUISAVIAROMA, Erika Cavallini, Harper's Bazaar Arabia, Schön!, KALTBLUT, Contributor, The Kunst, CAP 74024.
In 2019 the fashion film Sogno lucido. Ricerca estetica is selected for The gaze of the future fashion film contest at Fashion Film Festival Milano.
Since 2018 he has collaborated with Centro Cinema Taviani as curator of exhibitions on the work of Paolo and Vittorio Taviani.
